What's Up is a free helpline for children and young people aged 5–18, available by phone and webchat, run by Barnardos New Zealand. It offers a safe, caring space for young people to talk about anything that's worrying them — including the death of a family member or friend. Trained counsellors answer calls between 11am and 11pm daily, with webchat available in the afternoons and evenings.
